Wavepiston has successfully deployed a wave buoy in Martinique.
Following last year’s funding commitment from ADEME to support our wave buoy deployment in Martinique, the project has progressed steadily.
Our partner, CreOcean, secured the necessary local approvals and completed the preparation, testing, and transport of the buoy from Guadeloupe. At the end of April, the buoy was successfully deployed at our commercial site, where it will collect 12 months of wave data.
Wavepiston has live access to the data generated by the buoy.
